About Dr Parr

Dr Justin Parr is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.  Originally from rural Victoria, Dr Parr studied at the University of Queensland, initially completing an undergraduate degree, followed by his graduate medical degree in 2012.  Dr Parr worked in Brisbane and New Zealand, gaining basic surgical skills in the fields of plastic and reconstructive surgery, general surgery, and ear nose and throat surgery. 

Dr Parr was accepted onto the competitive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training program administered by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.  This rigorous training program allowed Dr Parr to learn comprehensive techniques to aid in complex reconstructive surgery of all parts of the body, including microsurgery.

Dr Parr's Qualifications & Expertise

Expertly trained in plastic, reconstructive, and hand surgery.

Dr Parr studied at the University of Queensland, completing his medical degree in 2012.  He subsequently worked in Brisbane and New Zealand, gaining basic surgical skills, prior to commencing rigorous training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as part of the accredited training program administered by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Following completion of his specialist training, Dr Parr undertook further training in complex hand and wrist surgery.  This fellowship was completed under supervision at Victoria Hand Surgery Associates, in St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne.
